The story behind the game
Winds & Leaves is an adventure-mystery game inspired by Jean Giono's The Man Who Planted Trees. Written in 1953, this story tells how the dedication and perseverance of a single man transformed a barren, wind-swept valley into a flourishing natural sanctuary. Building on these themes, we’ve designed both the story and gameplay mechanics to center around reforesting a desolate, lifeless land, mirroring the transformative journey of the original tale.
